When do I have to carry out this check-up and how often?

- When your electrical power provider asks you to provide him with the Safety Report of your installation.

- At  intervals defined by the Low-Voltage Electrical Installation Decree and according to the type of object under your responsibility.

Who is entitled to carry out such a check-up?

How do I proceed to get my electrical installation checked?

- You should appoint an Electrical Inspector to check your installations.  If no defects were found, the Inspector will provide you with the Safety Report requested by your Electrical Power Provider.  Otherwise, you will have to repair the defects found before any Safety report can be issued by the Inspector.

What does an electrical check-up include?

What are the advantages of getting an electrical check-up done?

-It attests that the installation is in conformity with technical rules and standards and that it answers safety requirements for people and properties.

What is a Safety Report?
